1. Agreement
By using setitup.net, buying a productized OS, or engaging me for services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or purchase a product. These Terms form a binding contract between you and Set It Up Digital Agency (operated by William Laplante).
2. What I provide
- Productized OS tiers — Marketing OS, Income OS, LinkedIn AI OS, and bot packs, delivered through Whop
- Custom builds — scoped engagements documented in a separate statement of work
- Consulting calls — strategy and architecture advice, booked through Calendly
I do not provide legal, tax, financial, or medical advice. Any automation I build is a tool — you remain responsible for the decisions you make with it.
3. Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe or Whop. Custom builds are typically 50% upfront, 50% on delivery (or as specified in the statement of work). All amounts are in USD unless otherwise noted. Taxes (including Canadian GST/HST where applicable) are added at checkout.
4. Refunds & cancellation
Productized subscriptions carry a 14-day money-back guarantee. Email me within 14 days of your first payment and I'll refund in full, no questions. After 14 days, you can cancel at any time — the subscription ends at the close of the current billing period.
Custom build deposits are non-refundable once work has started, except where I fail to deliver per the statement of work. In that case, I'll refund the unworked portion in good faith.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and access credentials needed to deliver the service
- Keep your own backups of data stored in third-party tools (Notion, HubSpot, Stripe, etc.)
- Use the systems I deliver lawfully — no spam, no scraping in violation of platform terms, no unlawful outbound
- Comply with the terms of any third-party tool I integrate on your behalf
6. Intellectual property
Code, workflows, and configurations I deliver as part of a Custom Build become your property on final payment. The underlying Jarvis framework, productized bot library, and Set It Up content (this website, docs, illustrations) remain my property and are licensed to you only for the purpose of running the systems I deliver.
7. Confidentiality
I treat anything you share in the course of an engagement as confidential. I won't share client names, revenue, or specifics without written permission. Anonymized learnings may make it into blog posts or talks — never anything that identifies you.
8. Service availability & SLAs
I aim for 99.9% uptime on Jarvis. Custom Build tier carries a written SLA. Lower tiers are best-effort. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance via email or Telegram, depending on your tier.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the services is limited to the amount you paid me in the 90 days preceding the event. I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost revenue or lost data — even if I've been advised of the possibility.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Set It Up Digital Agency and William Laplante from any claim arising from your misuse of the systems I deliver, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
11. Termination
Either of us can terminate a subscription at any time. On termination, I'll stop running your Jarvis bots on my infrastructure. On request, I'll hand off your n8n configurations so you can self-host. Outstanding invoices remain due.
12. Changes to these Terms
I may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced to active clients by email, with at least 14 days' notice before they take effect.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, unless we agree in writing to mediation or arbitration first.
