1. Who I am
Set It Up Digital Agency ("Set It Up," "I," or "me") is a solo operation run by William Laplante from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I provide automation systems, productized software, and consulting services to founders and small operators.
2. Information I collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact details (name, email, company) you submit via forms or email
- Project details you share during strategy calls or in scoping documents
- Payment information processed through Stripe and Whop (I never store full card numbers)
- Account credentials or API tokens you provide so I can build into your systems
Information collected automatically
- Standard log data (IP, browser, pages viewed) from this website
- Cookies set by analytics and embedded tools (see Section 5)
- Operational metadata from Jarvis bots running on your behalf (workflow runs, error logs)
3. How I use your information
- To deliver the products and services you bought
- To respond to inquiries and schedule calls
- To process payments and issue refunds
- To improve the systems I build and the content I publish
- To send transactional emails (receipts, build updates, support replies)
- To comply with legal obligations under Canadian and applicable law
4. Third-party processors
I rely on a small set of trusted vendors to operate. Each handles a narrow slice of your data:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Whop — product delivery and subscription management
- Calendly — call booking
- Google Workspace — email and documents
- Hostinger — website and Jarvis VPS hosting
- Notion — internal project management
- OpenAI / Anthropic — AI processing for bots you authorize
Each of these has its own privacy policy. I only share the minimum information needed for the service to function.
5. Cookies & tracking
This site uses a small number of cookies — strictly necessary cookies for the site to function, and basic analytics to understand how visitors find the site. I do not run advertising trackers or sell data to data brokers. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.
6. Your rights
Under PIPEDA (Canada), GDPR (EU/UK), and CCPA (California), you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the information I hold about you
- Correct or update inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal record-keeping obligations)
- Withdraw consent to processing at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Data retention
I keep project files and communications for as long as our engagement is active, plus up to 24 months after, in case of follow-up questions or warranty issues. Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by Canadian tax law. Anything older is purged.
8. Security
Jarvis runs on a hardened Hostinger VPS with full-disk encryption, SSH-key-only access, and routine security patching. Credentials you provide are stored in encrypted form. That said, no online service is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, email me immediately.
9. International transfers
I'm based in Canada, and my hosting provider operates servers in multiple regions. Where data is transferred outside your country, I rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
10. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy as the business evolves. Material changes will be announced via email to active clients and posted at the top of this page with a new "last updated" date.
